Just completed my 300 AAC BLK setup.. took out 2 days ago for a quick test round.. ran 6 shots through it.. every one of them have a bend/ding on the end of them. i have never noticed this before, but i dont normally collect brass...but i plan on starting reloading for this since ammo isnt so easy to come by right now..
i'm guessing no issue, just wanting to make sure.. no issues in shooting.. and assume that when i start reloading i'll resize each one any way.
thanks
My guess is that they are hitting something solid after ejecting. I've seen a lot of that from shooting over a concrete floor.
Mine does the exact same thing.
It's not an issue at reloading

They're hitting the deflector.
Dont have a 300 but I see that on some of my new builds. Most recent LR-308 build. It went away after 50 rounds. This happened with my 45 as well. As for reloading, nothing to worry about. The resizer will take care of it but I bet it will go away or lessen over time.
If you want you can use a piece of wooden dowel to straighten the necks some before you size them.

Why?????
The expander button in the sizer is going to do the same before the necks get even close to their sizer portion up in the sizer.

Or if the are really bad sometimes they can be saved with a large taper punch by driving it into the mouth to open the dent up.
