Thinking about a Geissele trigger for my SASS
I am thinking about changing to one of their High Speed either Match or DMR triggers. Anyone have any thoughts on this?
Also, what is the best way to remove the hammer pin with the D-clip on it. I can see it, but can't get anything on it to try and pull it out. Will it pop off if I drive the hammer pin out? Don't want to mess anything up. Planning on moving the Armalite National Match trigger to another rifle.
Thanks...

I have a SuperSASS with the stock trigger, which I like a lot.
A couple months ago the bitches at the CA Dept of Justice decided not to renew my AW permit, so I had to send the Armalite lower to Arizona for storage, lest I become a dangerous felon and go to PMITA prison for being a risk to the butterflies and kittens in this utopian state.
I bought an Aero Precision off-list AR10 lower and a Geissele SSA-E trigger for it, so I could keep shooting my SASS upper and other AR10 uppers while in this soul-crushingly oppressive state.
I know the SSA-E is not the HS DMR you asked about, but having used both the Geissele SSA-E and the stock Armalite SASS trigger, I don't have any plans to 'upgrade' my Armalite SASS's stock trigger when I get it back.
Thanks,,, I really like the National Match that is in it. Just looking for something a little lighter. Never even felt a Geissele and looking for this type information. Anyone else run one in an AR-10?

The standard G SSA is in every lower that I own at this time but one: one AR-10A4 with another being built for my 20"T {have an ARMALITE NM that is still very nice in my 24" T, total of three AR-10 lowers}, one 6.8, one 5.56 and one .458 SOCOM.
Go ask Steve at ADCO. If I need a trigger other than a G SSA , G builds it.
Installed the Geissele High Speed Match trigger today in my SASS. All I can really say is wow. After following the youtube instructions from the Mr. Geissele himself on tuning it, there is no comparison. Wanted to shoot some today but dark crept up on me. Going to shoot in the morning. I don't have a trigger gauge, but I am guessing it is around a pound right now. I actually added a little weight to the first stage just so I could feel it better. It is very easy to adjust.
I took the National Match trigger (still really like it) that was in it and swapped it into my AR-10 carbine. Put the tactical 2-stage from the carbine into one of my AR-15's. Got pretty good and switching them out.
I did find out that the safety selector on both my AR-10's would have required removing material from the side of the lug with a dremel tool to install correctly. This is described on their youtube vids and in the Geissele documentation. Luckly I had a few safety's from other rifles in my parts bin. Found one off a Colt rifle and compared it to the Armalite one. The slot was a few thousandth's wider. Installed it and the trigger worked perfectly.
This is good information...thank you.
I built up a sass with a armalite t-upper that i converted with super sass parts. The dmr trigger is awesome. I highly recommend it.
