I haven't played with my AR10 for several years and recently picked up a suppressor and decided to get it out again. It's having some issues with fail to fire after the initial round. I believe that I goofed up by putting on a collapsible stock and spring/buffer. I've got a bunch of AR's and now I've got to fix the AR10.
Anyway, here's a picture of my rig. I believe that the spring is correct (but I ordered a new one from Armalite anyway). The Buffer is my question. I think I bought this from Slash several years ago and it's probably for a collapsible stock? Will this buffer work with a fixed stock?
Do I need a new buffer? I've got so many guns and parts for AR's that I have springs/buffers, etc and have no accountability.
Can anyone help me out with the buffer / spring issue?

Yes, you need an AR-10 rifle buffer. The AR-10 rifle buffer is different from the carbine and AR-15 buffer.
Don't shoot a rifle stocked AR with a carbine buffer. The bolt carrier will mess up the lower receiver when it hits during recoil.
I'm not sure which buffer you have there (the pic isn't too clear), but it's not a .308 rifle buffer.
I have AR10R-XH buffers and OEM .308 rifle buffers and springs in stock:
