Anyone know if they make those gunsmith pads or whatever for the AR-10? I see them at alot of shops for the AR-15 and 1911s, I was wondering if they had one for the AR-10 specifically? Im trying to find a picture for reference, but am having trouble finding that as well. Im probably just searching with the wrong terminology, but I was hoping one of yall could help me out. Thanks alot.

I couldnt find anything except the ones on Brownells for the AR15, AK47, and Rem 870.

I have decided to make my own. I already have the diagram setup. Needs a bit of work, but I think its looking good. Im gonna try a couple different options, I want something that is resistant to solvents and oils.

I went by a local sign shop and was checking out the different materials used for the labels. They have plenty of stuff that is supposedly chemical resistant, but I dont know what to use as a base. SOG Armory has the ones for the AR15 and that mat doesnt seem very sturdy. Im gonna work on it this weekend, and will try to get some pictures posted. If it works out good, Ill make them for whoever wants them.

If anyone has any ideas of a good base to use, that would be appreciated.

I know what you're looking for and it does not exist.

I have a Glock pad that is neat but a child can work those pistols so the pad is well just a pad.

ARmalite is always looking for ways to produce quality products.

Email or call TR and see what they will do.

They are a great company.

I was actually thinking of that. I wanted to get some pieces together before I talked to them. Maybe they will buy the idea and produce them in house. Right now, I just have a lay out of all the parts. I would like to make it in an exploded view, I know its easy to put together, AR15s and AR10s are just big boy legos. But I would like one just because.

I just like the idea of having a mat that I can place my parts on that match up with a picture or whatever. I really want it to help keep me organized when stripping my gun. Instead of losing a detent or pin somewhere because I had them all piled together. Help my brain work a little less

Ill see what I can come up with and share with the hive to get some opinions.
