I'm in the market for a light AR in .308/7.62. I'm looking hard at the Armalite 10A4CF, but I am a little confused about it's weight. According to Armalite it weighs in at 7lbs 13 oz. According to Buds and other on-line dealers it weighs in at 9 lbs. Anybody know how much this this actually weighs?

Thanks

The 10A4CF is 7.75 lbs. All of our firearms were recently weighed and the information can be found in this forum under ARMALITE TECHNICAL SPEC INFORMATION. We'll be changing the information on our website as well.

there has been a rash of this lately and I have noticed that BUD's has a habit of listing wrong information or does not update information.

ArmaLite has it directly on their web site.

Why "recently"; have you been fattening them up for Thanksgiving? Maybe you've been feeding them too much ammo?
