The BEST?! AR10 trigger.....

Is the KAC 2-stage the best trigger for the AR10? Would it be considered durable for hard field use, prolonged fire, general abuse?

Or is there a better 4lb or so single stage?

Budget concerns out the window, who makes the BEST trigger for the AR10 -- this may see a precision upper or a carbine, or a rifle upper....multi use, multi function....

I am leaning towards the KAC but need a little more input....

I realize this is being covered somewhat on this page, but I had a couple different concerns than the other questions. Ed

It ought to be, its twice as expensive as the RRA... I'm still new to the whole "precision" shooting world, but it's well regarded on the board here. I'd like to try one myself, but I'm not sure I'm a good enough shot to make a difference.

Ed, FWIW. I just installed a White Oak Armament trigger in my AR-10... (RRA)? from ADCO by Hollinger. I have 2 other RRA 2-stages in ARs that are stock BTW. The Hollinger 2 stage IMO is sweet, real sweet. I can really tell a BIG difference. It was $115 and in my $ range. YMMV, and I still owe you a drink from a year or so ago. Danny

Was that the cost to have your trigger tuned by Hollinger, or for a complete unit? The RRA I have in my Service rifle is nice, but I've heard good thigs about White Oak.

I have 2 RRA 2-stage triggers I am thinking about sending him to sweeten them up if he will do it. Danny

I think you know I can only recommend the KAC 2-stage. I tried the Armalite and Jewell and the Armalite really doesn't compare to any good 2-stage and the Jewell lacked the mucle needed and really is too much of a target trigger. The KAC 2-stage is the smoothest thing I have used and I love mine. The unit seems robust and I have not eard of people complaining and lots of people use them. If you go with the KAC, you won't care about the rest!

The Accuracy Speaks unit works great in my SR-25. Derick Martin, who owns AS, is a national level competitor and a glazed-eyed fanatic when it comes to reliability. The trigger is sweet, rock solid, and I wouldn't hesitate to carry one into battle. Luck, SD

KAC and only KAC. I have RRA, Jewell and JP triggers in other ARs. None, not even the Jewell, stack up to the KAC. It's turned my AR-10T from a 1.5-2 MOA rifle (unless I was really conscious of the Armalite trigger) to a subMOA rifle in about six minutes.
