So this is my first ar build and I'm so excited , I ended up purchasing a spikes tactical lower receiver which is in transit to my ffl as we speak, I.spoke with a man named don from delta3tactical that I bought the standard LPK by spikes and a mill spec buffer tube and CTR stock. I was.thinking about using a spikes tactical upper to but thought I might mix.it.up.with a.PSA or BCM. I'm looking for a 16" mid length with a 9 inch rail system free float tube, I wanna add flip up front and back sites, and even a scope in he future. I was torn about getting a barrell with a fixed front a site but not sure how the front site affects point of view with a scope or red.dot.
I would lfike to buy a.complete upper , anyone can.recomend a good one that's in stock?
Can anyone comment on uppers with a front site vs flip ups.
Comments on which rail.system.to buy vs which to stay away from? I see so many rail omega, Daniel defense etc, not sure which are better then others.
Also most likely need a BCG are they pretty much the same or do.they vary drastically.
And does anyone have the spikes tactical standard trigger kit how do.you like it?
Fixed front sights do not interfere with your view when you are using a magnified optic.
When using a red dot optic you will see the front sight clearly. With low magnified optics you'll see a slightly darker view and is not entirely noticeable.
I personally prefer to use flat top upper receivers over fixed sights. In the military you learn to lollipop but I still find it to be annoying vs a completely clear sight picture that allows me to focus on the target.

Take a look at Marks Armory he has uppers <350.00 wo BCG or Charging handle in stock. Receive mine yesterday and will go to the range tomorrow and post a report after the trip.

So I am thinking on doing a BCM upper with their bcg and charging handle instead of a spikes tactical upper based of reviews and avalibility. Anyone here with BCM experience? I'm looking for a 5.56 and 16 mid length
