 connecting AR-15 lower & upper

I just finished assembling my first AR-15 lower. Did not go to bad for a rank novice !!!

Before I attempt to connect an upper onto the lower, I wanted to ask if just in case I have not installed something correctly on the lower or if something may be out of specs. on the lower is there any possibility that once I put the lower and upper together that I may have any difficult in getting them back apart again ? Say for instance, if I cock the bolt on the gun and it will not go fully home, is there any possibility that this would preclude me from getting the upper back off of the lower or that the difficulty might damage the upper in some way if I attempted to get the upper back off before resolving the problem ?

I have done all the tests on the lower that were given in the instructions.

Maybe I am over-thinking this but I thought now would be the time to ask.

Thanks.

The upper will come off the lower quite easily (it is part of a cleaning strip), the takedown/pivot pins maybe a little stiff at first but gets easier to work with after some use.

I tried it and everything seemed to function fine, although I have not given the ultimate firing test yet, it is raining here today !!!

Thanks.
