Streamlight TLR-1s, adding a remote switch, will the strobe still work on the remote?

if tapped twice, will the remote pad activate the strobe mode? Like it would on the regular switch? Will be mounted on an AR

This. However, the different available tapeswitches need differing amounts of pressure to activate (std 8" longarm the most, coiled longarm a little less and the std non-longarm the least). I prefer the 8" coiled myself (YMMV).
