Streamlight NightFighter TL-2 IR LED
Anyone have any experience with this light? I've been looking for a decent IR taclight in the 50-75yd range to attach to my AR-15. FYI, I am planning to use it with a Gen3 PVS-14 device.
If you want to mount it to a rifle, go with the TLR-1 IR. It is a 100+ yard illuminator.
I have a couple of tlr-2ir and afew tlr-1ir and they are very good and brighter then my surefire m952v out to 75-150yrds
I ended up ordering one, and I am happy to report that it is a very good IR taclight for the $80 that I spent. With my Gen3 PVS-14, it has a really nice spot with a lot of throw, and easily reaches 100yards, probably a little bit more. I really wish I could post pics of the light it produces, because it's really good. The only negative thing is that the body circumference is smaller than the average 1in ring mount, so I'll have to order a special mount I guess.
