If you've got one, could you please grab your X300 and try to wiggle the front glass with your finger? Mine shifts slightly and feels just a tad loose, want to see if this is normal or not.

Give SureFire a call - it shouldn't be like that. I'm sure they'll take care of it for you.

Not normal. Mine's loose, too. Just haven't got around to sending it in.

I have 3 X300's. My latest one I received with a firearm that I purchased had the loose lens. When I went to clean the light after I was done shooting I noticed that the lens was loose. I called Surefire and they gave me a RMA# and shipping instructions. I sent it out last week and they received it Monday. Now I'm just waiting to get it back from them. I was told it would only take 3 weeks or so.

Rob, could you please report back with the turnaround time for your repair once you get it back? I currently have three X300s-two of them are almost new and the first one was purchased back when they initially came out. One of the new ones has a bit of play in the glass like yours, and I'm considering sending it in for repair. Functionally it's fine, but I'm concerned about watertight integrity, fogging etc. My daughter really likes the X300 on her new Glock 17.

Thank you in advance for helping a brother out. My daughter and I love your avatar by the way!
