whats the word on Pentagon lights?

Im not familiar with Pentagon lights. I see then on the E.E. Namely the MS2 LED models

They went tits up after a lawsuit with surefire. I have one, it's a great light. If you get one make sure it is one that takes surefire or equivalent replacement lamps, I think there are some models that the only replacement was from pentagon light.

They were great lights. Just no support for parts or bulbs now that the company is gone. So when they break or fail, they're gone.

Sad as it is, I sold one to a friend a few years ago and it's still running strong. He said it had paid for its self and the rest is free time.
