I saw the Viridian X5 Green Laser Sight in the latest issue of the Speical Weapons fishwrap.

Anyone have? Like, dislike?

The combo light/green laser would rule if it was good and reliable.

Thanks.

the only viridian i have experience with is the version for the walther P22. the first one was ALL fu*&ed up, and the replacement won't hold zero.

the one i have is about 1.5 years old, so i don't know if anything changed in their design..............

I am on my third X5L. The first two failed while shooting on the range. Their customer service is some of the best I have every worked with and the third one is working great. Each time without question they have sent me shipping labels to return the broken one and within a week had a new one in my hands. After the first time they offered to refund my money or send me a new one. I have been impressed with its ability to hold a zero and the intensity of the laser. Personally I plan to purchase another one because I know if there is every a problem their customer service is outstanding and will make it right.

Should clarify Viridian Customer Service upgraded me from the original X5L to the C5L for free after the first one broke…at the time the C5L had just been released.

One of the local gun shops had one on display, and so I asked to look at it....

It was inoperable from the get-go. IIRC, the sales dude said that it appeared as if the manufacture couldn't be bothered to thread the battery cap. Or something like that....

I think I'll steer clear of them.
