Surefire M951 + 7.62 AK?

Will this combo be good to go? Im making a tactical AK in 7.62 and plan on getting a m951 and eotech 512 but want to be sure theyll be ok with it

The flashlight has nothing to do with the gun other than attaching to it.....

I didnt know if the recoil would damage it seeig as how its got an incandescent head

The surefire weaponlights have shock isolated bezels, an AK or AR doesn't have much recoil to begin with so you are fine. They designed them to be used on weapons.

You should be fine. BTW, best mod to that set up, is a Malkoff M61. I have on in my M951 and it makes three times the light the P60 bulb.

What about battery life?
I know the P61 drops it to 20 minutes, and the surefire upgrade head is way too much at $300

i looked them up but would i also need the fitting ring as well?
