Surefire M952V Offset Mount
This light is a good bit bigger than my Surefire M600c that uses the LaRue offset scout mount. Looking for a similar offset mount for this one. LaRue preferred. Any help appreciated.
I could modify my LT752 offset scout mount by drilling the mounting hole slightly bigger, but would only be able to mount the M952v with one screw. If the scout mount was 1/2inch longer it would work.
You could try using a Danger Close Consulting Millenium Series Adapter on the LaRue offset scout mount. The DCC is the only offset millenium setup out there.

I would suggest waiting a month or so until
Impact Weapons Components launches our new 1913 Picatinny Light MOUNT-N-SLOT for your light. It's way less expensive, bulky and a lower profile & fewer parts than the Gear Sector / LaRue w/ Danger Close adaptor recommended above. Pricing will be >$60.00. Seriously, this new mount rocks!

Feel free to IM me some pics

I have a M952V and the mount has been my biggest complaint of the light. After taking a look at the above mentioned options I think I'm going to go w/ the RADIAL Millennium Scout Light MOUNT-N-SLOT. It says it fits the M952 so I'm assuming it will also fit the M952V as there seems to be no difference. I'm 99% sure but I have never handled a M952 though.
Luckily I have a TRX Extreme to mount it on. Any one have any knowledge on how easy it is to mount? Do I need to do anything special to the hand guard, etc?

They are building a new mount for the M952v that is off set for use on picatinny rails
Winning!

Since I have the TRX Extreme, it's essentially more bulky to add on the rail only to put a mount on it. The goal is a compact streamlined setup, so I think the mount that attaches directly to the handguard makes the most sense.

Impact Weapons Components now offers our
Millennium Radial Light Mount for TROY TRX which eliminates the need for a rail. It mounts your M952v directly to your TROY TRX.
Thanks!

So what you're saying is... you want my money? YOU GOT IT ! Just by looking at it, it seems as if that is as streamlined as M952v can get.
XMas will be good for me :-)
Thanks
Looking for a model that will fit between the rails of a KAC URX2.
