Ive heard rumors of the "forked" flash hiders having a tuning fork "ping" to them while shooting . Never heard one personally . I also personally wouldnt want something like that on the end I could accidentaly injure myself with . Odds are youll stab your leg before you stab a zombie lol .

I would hate to walk thru brush with that thing. It would catch on branches and brush very easily.

Right. Yeah IF for other reasons I bought this I'd almost certainly end up grinding the points off. Yes pronged flash hiders have a "ping" sound. All I care about is whether or not this would have a significantly reduced flash signature over an fsc556. That's it.

I'm thinking I should post this question in the general discussion to get more feedback. Is it against the rules to do that if it's already here?
