I have a Harris bipod selected on cheaperthandirt but i need an adapter i guess because it comes for a rifle swivel. What do i need or is there another harris bipod i can get that it comes already for ar 15s??
Have you got a quad rail fitted, if so Larue do a QD Harris mount.
Yeah i have a DD 9' rail. I was looking at the LaRue but i am not spending that much money now for an adapter. It almost cost as much as the bipod. Harris has a QD adapter for the same price that makes you swivel the rifle 360 degrees horizontally. I rather get that, not that i would need to do that at the range lol but at least im getting more for my money...
I have a YHM bipod adapter on my HBAR. I have a 6" rail mounted on the forearm and the adapter is mounted to that with hex head set screws.
YHM Bipod Adapter
I got mine from Brightflashlights here on the forum. It looks like he has a special on them now (Scroll down towards the bottom of his first post):

Here is an old pic of my original set up:
Now she looks like this with a new RRA lower and OD green furniture:
Here's the ADM mount and
this is the best price I've found (just like foxj66 said).
A QD mount is a real value because you can quickly and easily swap the bipod from one weapon to another without a single turn of a knob. I'd also consider a Harris bipod that pivots. It might not sound beneficial, but once you've used one that pivots you'll never want any other type again. You don't always shoot on level ground so your reticle will not always be level.
Knights makes a good adapter that used to be around $35.00.

The ADM adapter is great.
