I currently have a sling swivel mounted harris bipod and am looking into getting a rail mounted bipod. I am not very impressed with the stability of the harris swivel mounted pod and am looking for something sturdier. Anyone have a suggestion less than 200.00 that would fit the bill? I took the bipod off and am shooting off of bags now because it is much sturdier. Planning on going dog hunting in South Dakota some time soon and would prefer not to lug around a couple bags with me. thanks for any ideas

GG&G. Botach has 20% off all GG&G products right now and regular price on one of their bipods is like $170ish. Although you should be forewarned that Botach is notorious for selling stuff they don't have and you might end up waiting a while...

I'd recommend a Bobro bipod, but they are hard to find and are a little above the $200 range. It is a sturdy piece though.
