The Stokblok - nifty little add-on for a collapsible stock

A little while ago, someone posted asking about the Stokblok. I checked into it (not much to it) but I thought it cool enough to try it and it solved the problem of having useless positions on my stocks.

It's a single piece of plastic so there's not much to say about it. It's fit well (not too tight or loose) in the 3 different receiver extensions I put it on (PSA, BCM and Spike's). I suppose if it failed it could gum up the works for the stock but I believe anything that caused the Stokblok to fail would cause the stock and receiver extension to fail too.

I think it's priced a little high, considering what it is but I bought it anyway because it solved my problem. I imagine someone with basic machining skills could bang out one in plastic or metal quickly.

Here are some pics (not mine) of what it looks like, how it's installed and how it looks installed.

How snug does it go in? With my Vltor A5 tubes I cant collapse my stocks (LMT SOPMOD/TI-7) to the first position about 1 1/2, but I run on the second hole anyway. So with this I could block the first hole and start with the second?

If you mean first hole from the receiver, wouldn't this just fall out? I think it's supposed to limit extension of the stock.

It's not snug enough to just stay there. You would have to use an adhesive to keep it in place.

Very cool idea.

The early Magpul 93s had a similar feature.
