Just got my MS3 sling and ran into a problem

I just picked up my magpul ms3 sling today, it looks awesome and I'm sure it will work once I get this figured out.
I have the midwest industries MCTAR-14 sling adapter. The loops for the sling adapter is to small for the new MS3 heavy duty "paraclip"
Is there any sort of ring I can add to make it work?

Paracord is the cheap and field expedient answer.
I believe that there are "adapter" pieces for other slings that would fit your MI endplate and allow you to use the MS3 not sure who makes them though.

I found a nice 1" keyring that feels pretty durable, I slid it into the adapter and mounted the sling,
I'll try to get a picture

Hopefully this will be ok for a while..

Just don't depend on that for long. I have seen many strong key rings pull apart like a wet noodle.

Well I can't find the nylon sling thing like the IDF uses.

with some paracord.

Get the Magpul ASAP. I just installed one on my AR.

The MCTAR 30 is what you need. It is only $3 more than the MCTAR 14 you have. See if you can return it to the vendor and purchase the unit you need. Otherwise, sell on the EE. I used a Noveske endplate and a QD swivel (and a QD swivel on a LT rail) - awesome setup for use with the MS3.
