Do some research, this question has been covered several times. I would ditch the DPMS, but if you can't. Get a rail and slap on a sling attachment. It can be a QD swivel or anything.

I am assuming it has the same free float tube as my DPMS AP4. I purchased a 2" rail section from Brownells IIRC and drillled and tapped the handgaurd and mounted the rail section to it and got a QD mount and swivel.

Care to expand on the ditching DPMS? Well, I know it's prolly not the best brand but any other reason?

Keep the DPMS cause it is a great gun. I just bought two of the Harris Bi-pod adapter swivels directly from DPMS. Ordered them Monday and was hoping to install today but they did not come yet. Several others have said they work really well.

Then part number from the website is BI-05. $10.95 each with sales tax and $2.50 shipping I will be at $25.90.

Good deal for two of them and then can have both Sportical and Lo-Pro slinged up.
