Guys,
In the picture below, the Mk4 2.5-8 has white lines etched into the scope body(I assume to aide with alignment) and a lanyard on the battery cap.
It is a Mk 4 2.5-8 Illum TMR M2
I haven't seen this on any other photos on the interwebs from vendors or in personal pictures so just curious if the 2.5-8 pictured is a special run version or are these thing standard on all Mk 4 2.5-8s
Thanks for any info

Looks like it was customized, both with the lines on the tube and the battery cap having the retainer cord added. I havent seen this done from teh Leupold custom shop, but any good gunsmith or scope guru could maybe have done it.

Trevor,
Thanks for the input, I got it shipped directly from Leupold thru one of the mil sales programs. I found the box and the part number on the box is 112633 which isn't listed on Leupold's product guide, but a google search of it shows it being for sale and also know as the TS3A3 and the TS30A2 and is priced higher than the other versions but while it is listed, it isn't in stock many places... and still no info on what it is other than the generic info
I am very interested in this scope and could get my hands on one in an auction tomorrow!!!
It has an illuminated MRT - reticle.
Can you tell me something about it?
Is it good to go?
Need help.
Thanx.

Mine has a illum TMR reticle also. I have only had it for a short time but my initial impressions are positive. The glass clarity is on par with other Leupold Mk4 series scopes. adjustments are crisp and track correctly.
I would not hesitate to buy another if I had a rifle that needed glass in this magnification range
