Aimpoint Comp C3 4moa, was this a good deal?

I was at my LGS today and noticed a used Aimpoint sitting in the case. I was thinking it was going to be a fakepoint, but on closer inspection it looked to be the real deal. It was marked as being a Comp C3, which I wasn't too familiar with. From what I could gather it's a slightly less rugged version of the ML2. It was in good shape, came with some cheesy plastic bikini covers and a cheesy aluminum low mount (I think it is a factory mount), but the optic itself looked good and seemed to work fine. I did notice that it doesn't have a tethered battery cap. The glass looks clear with no scratches. I figured for $200 OTD I couldn't go wrong. So was this a pretty good deal, or just average? Also, any info on the Comp C3 model would be appreciated.
