Dumb ? but I do not own one YET, I am looking at a TA 26 Sg and a quick mount. How does the scope mount to the mount?

Actually I'm not sure how that particular model mounts. I'm not sure why anyone would want a 1.5x AGOG or who makes a QD mount for it.

The TA44 looks like pretty much the same thing but will fit into a LaRue mount.

Pretty much every sight/mount combo I've ever owned - the mount comes with screws unless they expect you to use factory hardware. Either way, you are good to go with a new sight and mount. They'll come with whatever you need.

I have heard ADM makes a mount and larue makes one that is said to work, but isn't listed for it because they haven't tested it.
Once again.... I've heard/read that. Best figure it out for yourself.

EDIT:
And now that this guy posted down there...\/\/\/

I'm talking about the lower picture.... and yes, I'd go with the upper version too. It's just the ACOG standard. Fits damned near anything.
Makes me wonder if they changed it up for rigidity, but I've never had any issues from the "normal" carry handle type mount.

Trijicon has 2 different versions shown on their site.

TA44S-10

TA26S-10

I'd go with the first one (TA44S-10) if you have to get this model. The first one has a base that was designed to be installed directly into the the top of a carry handle. Many manufacturers make mounts for attaching such optics onto a flat top upper with a QD mount. LaRue for instance. I'll see if I can find the right mount on their site.

Have you went to a local shop to play with one in person? That is highly recommended before buying one.

Here's a LaRue mount that should work. I'm not 100% positive if this will work for that specific model, but I'd call them and confirm.

American Defense MFG makes some similar mounts too. I'd contact them if you are interested in one of their mounts.

Bobro makes a mount for this optic. Trijicon sells them on this page.

It looks like you need the trijicon MM08 adaptor to mount the bottom one on a QD. The top pretty much has the adaptor built in.

It looks like that one is for the TA26S-10 listed on this page.

alacop, I would spend more time on Trijicon's website. For each model of ACOG they sell they also have an "Accessories" page for each model. In their Accessories page it lists a lot of different mounts and other accessories.

Thanks for the replies. Im still researching. Ideally I would like an ACOG that would work best between 200 yds to 25 yds, and mount with acess to BUIS. Ideas?

The last thing in the world I am concerned about with an ACOG is a BUIS. If something knocks an ACOG out of service, you have bigger problems.
