what mount...VMX 3...Aimpoint PRO....

I am looking at picking up a 3x magnifier, Ive heard good things about the Vortex vmx3...and figured it will do what i need it to....
I have an AIMPOINT PRO.....Ive seen pictures of the VMX3's mounted and it seems to sit low compared to alot of the optics its mounted behind...but I havent seen it behind the PRO....
Will the stock swing mount be level with the stock PRO mount? does anyone have this setup?
I know it doesnt really matter since you can adjust the sight picture....but i think it would look nicer.

First you need to know what height your optic is mounted. Is it a true cowitness or is it a lower 1/3 cowitness?
If your Aimpoint PRO is in a true cowitness height then you'll want a magnifier mount that will hold the magnifier at the same height. Same with a lower 1/3 cowitness optic mount ... you'll want a magnifier that hold it at that height.

The PRO should be lower 1/3 as long as you have not removed the spacer that comes installed on the QRP2 mount.
