Hy guys,
I´m looking for an optic for my AR.

It should be kind of a scope with a RedDot.

What´s about the Leupold?
Good or grap, why?

I have used the Patrol models and for the most part they are the same thing. I'm sure the VX-R are just as nice. We are a Leupold dealer so if we can be of help fill free to ask.

I have the VX-R 4-12 and could not be any more pleased with the optic. I will also purhase a VX-R 2-7x33 for my next scope. The eye relief is better than most and the scope seems rugged enough. Glass quality is typical Leupold. I would recommend the VX-R line to anyone looking for a scope of this type.

Just recently installed a VX-R 1.25 x 4 Fire Dot 4 on my mid length AR carbine. Couldn't love it more. The lowest power is fine for up close (7 yards) and the 4 power is plenty out to 300. This is really a great scope for the money. Have owned Leupolds for over 40 years and have never been disappointed.

I have the 2-7 vxr and it seems to be a very nice piece. I have it mounted on a 20 inch psa upper and so far so good. I have the ballistic fire dot reticle and its mounted in a quick release gg&g mount. I have only taken it out a couple times so ymmv. I however am satisfied so far.
