Anyone know when these are expected to come out (besides "this summer")? I don't have any pmags yet because I have been waiting to buy until these come out. I know there is a vendor from Magpul who frequents this board. Any ideas of when we will be able to place an order? TIA

It's been redesigned to be used with non-AR magwell patterns. Standard PMags don't fit the 416, SA80, etc... The SCAR can have issues with the PMag as well.

Magpul claims it also is made with updated materials.

I thought thats what the E-Mag was designed for.

I think they're consolidating the product lines.

The SCAR's bolt catch would be forced upwards with the Pmag and Emag, causing the bolt and bolt catch to rub against each other when the rifle cycles. Existing magazines can be modified by having the notch in the rear spine of the magazines cut deeper to fix this problem, but the new M3 magazines are supposed to not have this issue.

I'm looking forward to the M3. Not really sure why as the Pmag does everything I want for my AR, but it seems pretty cool.

Soon.. I just bought 8 of the current gen pmags, so knowing my luck the M3s will come out by the time mine arrive.
