I hadn't been aware of this neat little gizmo until today.

Can you guys please share you experiences with various brands? Praise? Problems?

Thanks

LULA is the brand.
Get one for every caliber you own.

Okay, are there other manufactures of similar devices?

If yes, who, what and where, and how do they compare?

There is no comparison.

Bought one in the Camp Tigerland PX back in 2005. Best purchase I made there. Have one for the M14 also. When you have to down load 15 mags every week it saved Beaucoup time emptying and reloading them during magazine maintenance.

There is no comparison.

Correct, often imitated, never duplicated

There are few companies out there, but LULA seems to be BEST. I can't go shooting without it.

For AR's, nothing beats the StripLULA. Loads stripper clips, singles, and you can unload mags with it.

I've seen the plunger-loader that goes with the C-Mag work well too. But for ease of use, compactness, and multi-purpose, nothing beats the StripLULA.

Thank you all for the input. I'm new to the AR world and the community here is AWESOME!

Anything that works as advertised and survives a trip to the sandbox unscathed is worth keeping around.

LULA for the win.

I have three of them; AR, AK and UPLULA.

My only regret is not sending in a photo to get ten free ones when they introduced them.

I have an original LULA loader for AR's and love it. I don't like the strip LULA. It doesn't work well for me.

I also have an UpLULA for pistol magazines and love it too.

I haven't tried the .22 LULA.

For AR-15 Mags, I prefer the Thermold Stripper Clip guide over the Strip LULA.

Thermold will also load loose rounds quickly. The Thermold will not have a chance of slipping off the mag like the the Strip LULA will do. Also it's about a 1/3 the price.

For some reason the rounds get bunched up and don't go in fast. It has worked from time to time but the original LULA is better fro me.

You will love the UPLula and you will ask yourself why didn't I get one of these a long time ago.

I have no expierience with the Strip Lula at all, I use the regular MagLula and the Bench Lula

I've used the regular AR lilac for a couple of years now. Absolutely love it. A few weeks ago I bought 500 rounds of M855 on stripper clips. For the life of me, I can never get the GI spoon loader thingy to work right.

I just bought a Striplula and im hooked now. Im pretty much converting all my ammo now over to stripper clips. I know you can unload with it, although I haven't quite figured it out yet.

While stripper clips are convenient, the great thing about the StripLULA is you can load singles!

Unloading is easy. Directions should have been included, but hold your magazine sideways. Take the square end thats on the bottom of the LULA, and press down on the second round with it. The first round just drops out. Work it back and forth, and they just drop. It takes some practice, and doesn't always work, but its pretty simple.

M-16/ AR-15 LULA™

AK-47/ Galil LULA™

I have two LULA loader and unloader one for my AR and one for my AK and Galil, I bought these about six years ago and had been very satisfied with them.

I'm going to get their Colt SMG and UZI LULA™ for my 9mm carbines.

Received both and tried them out. The UPLula is great, definitely recommend it to anyone looking to simplify loading pistol mags.

StripLula is a different story. I've tried it on all sorts of mags (20 & 30 round PMags, Lancer L5, USGI, USGI with magpul followers, ....) When using loose rounds it is way too easy to jam the tip of the round into the front of the mag and foul up the whole process. I'm sure it would work better with stripper clips, and I'll probably keep it for that, but it sucks for single rounds IMHO.

I use the Beta-C loader, even I can't screw it up!
Would love to have a Lula Bench Loader, but never could get one when they were "only" $300, and now at $430 forget it!

That Galil is beautiful, some of my best shooting was years ago with an identical gun sporting an OEG sight.

i love mine, its a nice add for AR-15 magazines, but they are easy enough to load.

but the lula for handgun mags are a god send for those last few rounds
