I have a couple of Stainless 20 round mags that need new followers. Also curious about 30 round SS. Is it true that the stainless bodies need special dimension followers? (I just discovered that they are out of business!)

Yes, SS followers are slightly bigger.

Bummer. I guess better update my milling skills and make up a few...

Should have listened to my wife who told me to give it up after I had to return 4:1 to get good ones.

Give ASC a call. Maybe they have something that is similar. 9080

Will do. Although I have to wonder if their inventory is made up of all the defective undersize followers that let multiple rounds pop out. (although that may have been limited to orange ones.)

anybody's guess. But although I have a bunch of Cprod. mags, I here ASC has their shit a little tighter. Worth a shot anyway. good luck. 9080

I thought these are Magpul copies?

I just measured a few of my followers.

Black from 20 round ss mag .795" wide.

Orange from 20 round ss mag .765 wide (These are the mags I had to return 4 times. Finally received black follower mags for all but two)

Old style (black) GI 30 round .760 wide

Doesn't look like they were dimensional clones of magpul.

I did not measure any of my orange ss 30's which work fine.
