I recently bought a CProducts stainless straight 20 round magazine from MidwayUSA with some other stuff I needed.

Out of the bag, the magazine finish was a dull matte black color with some noticeable scuffing from QC testing. The follower is a CProducts design similar to a Gen I Magpul, like the one in their stainless 30 round magazine. The magazine body is precisely cut and formed. The welds are very precise and tight. It functioned well in my very limited test. The magazine fit my Bushmaster magazine well perfectly and easily dropped free.

Like the 30 round stainless magazines, I found this straight strainless 20 round magazine to be well-made and reliable. I didn't have good luck with the limited run of CProducts curved stainless 20 magazines. I wouldn't hesitate to buy more stainless straight 20 round mags.

I'm in the process of trying out 20 rounders for my 16" carbine.
May I ask what problem you were having with the curved 20 round mags?
I've tried out a sampling of curved 20 round mags (none of them CProducts) and have gotten failures to feed with a couple of them.
Is this a common problem with the curved 20 round mags?

The curved stainless steel 20m rounders were made with secondary tooling. We experienced a very limited number of magazines with problems. The new straight 20 stainless steel magazines are from dedicated tooling are of exceptional quality.

The two curved stainless CProducts magazines I bought had followers that would stick in the magazine bodies. CProducts sent me a prompt refund after I shipped them back.

I haven't had any problems with the 20 round curved D&H/Bushmaster magazines I own. I don't think there is anything inherently wrong with curved 20 round magazines.

Depends on who you're askin!

I love the old straight USGI 20 rounders. What can I say? I grew up on Vietnam war movies!

Thanks, Larry!
That's exactly what I wanted to know.
I'll be going ahead with an order for some of your straight stainless steel mags in the near future.
