Parson's is the predecessor to Center Magazines. Adventure Line was the original of them both. All out of Parson, KS.

They were government contract magazines. You should read the magfaq at the top of the magazine forum threads. You will learn a lot.

Yes, both Parsons and Center are/were USGI suppliers.

I used to work in Wichita fora big Aerospace company. I've worked with both Parsons and Center who built aircraft parts for us. Parsons is a small town in SE Kansas and Parsons Precision is the big emplyer in town. Center is in WIchita, and employs a lot of handicapped workers. Who by the way turn out fantastic products!

I understand the tooling to properly fabricate the magazines is in limited distribution. Could all these KS enterprises be using the same passed around tooling?

I have a Parson's. It's old but if you ask me they're put together better than newer USGI.

That is entirely possible. It is common in Aerospace for tooling to be moved from one vendor to another if the new vendor wins the contract.
