The company is NHMTG which is the same company that makes Colts and Okays, but with different floor plates. The only reason that it is a different marking is because the latest govt contract doesn't allow the company to sell the same mags to the public. I know there are several companies that support this site in the EE that have them for sale for a bit less.

NHMTG magazines are excellent - they are today what magazines with the Colt floorplates were prior to the ban. In fact, the magazines I got with my RRA and my Armalite were both NHMTG.

$18 is not a rip-off price - you may do a buck or two better, but won't get much lower than that. The EE is a good place to look, but the EE does not have the best prices all the time. You'll do fine to get those magazines for around $16-$19 each from any reliable source. The one perspective you must maintain on here is there is no shortage of people on this board (tightwads) who seem to get personally offended when dealers charge $19 or more for any magazine!

I guess I am a tightwad. I feel that $18 or more per mag is a rip off. There are a lot of places that are selling the moly coat NHMTG mags for $12.50 each in quantities as small as 10 mags. I believe eagle firearms is only $14-ish and you can buy them 1 at a time from them. I don't know about anyone else, but I don't normally buy just 1 or 2 mags for any of the firearms I own, so buying 10 mags for $125 isn't really a big deal. What I do think is a big deal though, is saving $6 per mag.

A couple good points there, but the big thing is buying in bulk. Sure, if you bought 1000 mags all at once you could probably get them for $5 a pop from somewhere! But, I'd wager most people don't buy in bulk and therefore, $18 would not be a rip-off price to pay for a magazine. Not everybody is into magazine and ammo hoarding like I and other ARFCOM-mers are...

Please re-read my post. Eagle firearms has them for about $14 each in BULK QUANTITIES AS LOW AS ONE UNIT. Those are the same exact NHMTG mags that RRA and others are selling for $18+ each. The other BULK QUANTITY that I mentioned was a whopping TEN UNITS. I don't see how either ONE or TEN UNITS would be considered BUYING IN BULK.
