Okay, Parsons, Adventureline, or Labelles. Coopers = Poopers and so does Sanchez! Some of their mags were ok, but why bother trying to figger out which!

I have been told that about Sanchez, but I have never owned them before. I thought they were USGI Issued and built to Military specs. same as the other Mags.

US GI with green followers and the newer style springs are THE best, unless you're LE and have access to the shit hot HK steel mags [:D]

Good for the range, not for hard use.

Nothing wrong with Sanchez mags, but Cooper did lose their contract due to mixing rejected mags in with the "passes." -Troy

Supposedly, Canadian Thermolds have melted when firing blanks on full-auto. Since I'll probably never fire blanks on full-auto, I'm not worried. I've got several 30-round and 20-round Thermolds, and I even have a pair of Canadian Thermolds I bought used in 1996. I've used them, abused them, dropped them, left them out in the Texas sun, and occasionally used them as a hammer; and have never had so much as a single misfeed whatsoever, with all kinds on ammo, including the disgustingly dirty Guatemalan ammo. True, USGI mags are what I own most, but I also have good faith in the underrated Thermold mags. [(:|)]

US GI w/green followers from the various manufacturers, with some spec ops units using the steel HK mags. The only one Ive had confirmed for me is Marine Force Recon using that particular mag.

I like USGI's because of how light they are.. but now my favorite is the blued Imperial Defense. With a change of followers these things run like a german built wrist-watch. I can't say that about any other mags I have owned except the parsons USGI's I have, and I have owned a ton of diffent mags. The only problem with the ID mags is that they are heavy as hell when you start hauling more than 10 around like I do when I go shooting.

If I was rich, I'd own nothing but FN and Labelle. Us poor folk have to take whatever USGI mag we can get ahold of (except Cooper). edit to add: Nothing wrong with Sanchez. 2nd edit to add: The author of this thread is a [:K]

The question reminds me of something like, who is hotter, a blonde, brunette, redhead, sista, latina, etc? I've shot thousands of rounds through Thermold and Orlite 30 mags with zero problems and they don't scratch or dent like the metal mags, especially if you drop a loaded one on the deck. However, it's more challenging to get replacement parts like springs and followers for them, since they are somewhat different than the USGI stuff. I've always had excellent luck with 1980s circa gray finish aluminum Colt 20s and they are easy to hold when sitting on a bench at the range. The LaBelle gray finish 30s with green followers seem to be the best of the late-80s/early 90s pre-ban stuff. As a sidebar issue, what problems are fellow AR15 members having with RGuns?
