I'm looking to buy a speed loader but I don't know what is best. I would prefer something that doesn't use stripper clips but if they function a lot better than non stripper clip models I would go for it. And I don't need one of those Israeli table loader deals. hehehe

I used to use stripper clips, but they never fed right and I couldn't figure out if there was a trick.

I bought a lula at the BRC and I like it alot.

I spent a couple of days once watching TV and loading up strippers. Now I wish I hadn't.

The idea for loading up stripper clips is that you load up your ammo BEFORE an emergency, so that DURING an emergency, you can load/reload your mags quickly.

For range use (assuming no emergency...), the LULA is great for loading loose ammo.

I use the Beta-C 5-round mag loader. Just two pieces of plastic; one to hold 5 rounds and a plunger to slam 'em home. Very simple and durable and works great with bulky gloves.

Step 1: Have at least 10 mags loaded with SHTF ammo.

Step 2: Buy a LULA for range use.

Step 3: When SHTF, chances are you will either kill every threat, or get killed yourself before even coming close to using your 10 mags.

You've got to get a LULA, that's the best way I've found for loading mags.

Ordered a LULA yesterday. I think it will be just what I was looking for. And I'm not very worried about the S(EVER)HTF. I'll worry about that when we get there. Thanks for the help guys.

I have a LULU,their Great, but for the stripper clips,I also have a Black square Unit, that fits on your Belt with what looks like Military Web belt holders.(the MAG slides up from the Bottom and locks into this loader, add your stripper clip, push and load). This thing is great,(for loading stripper clips)they give you a plastic stick with a flat hook on it to UNLOAD your mags, that doesn't work so well..I need to post a picture of this Loader,it works great, the Loader has a Slot that the stripper clip slides into,a push, and it's loaded..I have owned it for a couple of years, they used to be quite popular..anybody remember the name of this stripper loader.????Will send you a pic,or until I get it posted on the Site..

Another vote for the LULA. It's great for loading mags, and even better for UNloading mags.

LULA works great! You can load all your magazines watching TV without even looking at them or the ammo.

Clip loading? Use USGI clips and magazine loaders.

Neither of these if a substitute for full magazines so fill 'em all.
