Anybody have any experience with Hellfire Ammo, St. Helens, OR? A fellow I work with is looking for input on their reloaded 5.56.

Well I am a little disturbed to see this, distubing?

Surely this is a simple misprint. Does not inspire thoughts of greatness. Not what you want to see from an ammo company I would think.

It should say 5.56x45/.223.

5.56x39 is not interchangable with .223. Someone correct me if I am wrong here.

It would be interesting to hear what their prices might be.

I have not done business with this division of Heller Enterprises, but I have done alot of business with the Tacticalammunition.com which is the primary division. In the beginning, it was a good alternative to the high price of centerfire ammunition. I personally have shot their .223/5.56 ammo, and to this date, I have shot approx. 4000 rds of their reloads. Not one fail to fire, or failed to extract. Good accuracy too.

Then, 1 week ago, at the range, my first kaboom. I posted it in here under AR discussions under the same title. Last I saw, it was on Pg.6 Sorry, I don't know how to bring up the link. To make a long story short, for the price of this ammo, you can find good factory ammo with new brass for just as cheap. You don't have to take a gamble on once fired brass.
