What Calibers are available for the AR platform
I would like to get a list going for all available calibers as long as they work with the standard AR15 lower reciever not AR10 lowers. I know the basics but would like to know all of the wildcat calibers. Please only list ones that are in production or will come into production not one-off prototypes made for the fun of it. If something is obscure and only available from 1 or so manufactures please provide links. I will update in my original post. Thanks guys

There are several of them, I have two myself.

I was eliminating those as they do not use the standard AR mag well for feeding. If you go that route you can include
50 BMG
416 Barrett
22LR - American 180 style
5.7 x 28 using P90 mags
A pile of others that fit the 50 BMG mags ...

Are you talking about the rhineland arms project? I was under the impression that was a no go.
Is the 357 Automag the same as a 357 Mag pistol round ? if it is
please say where can I get one !!

Tell me about it!
Need to add:
6.5X243 WSSM
6.5X257 WSSM
The ejection port needs enlarging & the mag followers need to be modified. That & there is no commercial ammo available. This round should be able to duplicate 260 Remington ballistics.

A friend of mine has build a few "new" Ar platform rifles as well. Here is one in 22-250.

He is going to market this conversion and a few others that use the AR-10 platform.

Nope. 357 AutoMag is (more or less) a .308 Win case cut short and necked to .357. Recall (or Google depending on your age) Dirty Harry using the 44 AutoMag in "Sudden Impact". This same round necked down to .357 gives the .357 AMP (Auto Mag Pistol).
VERY different from the .357 Magnum commonly found in revolvers and other firearms.
so you can use a standard ar15 lower receiver with differnt calibers? im new to AR's and just bought 2 double star receivers. waiting to get them now!!
