Just Upgraded my Post Ban Bushmaster

The scoped upper is the orignial post ban Bushmaster upper, and the new heavy barrell upper is installed along with the surefire rails and the Havoc 37mm. I have an ACOG on the way (TA-31H) so there's no sights on it currently.
Since Bill Goodman's Show is in town I may go and pick up a set of backup sites tommorow.

ANYHOW... just had a random thought at 4:00 am... Does anyone make a flashlight "shell" for these things... especially for those of us that are not classified DD yet why couldn't someone make a single shot strobe or something for this? Since you give up a 1/4 of the real estate to mount crap like that...

Just a thought.

I fixed it sorry man!

It's an Iphone Cam shot so not very high res... tried to increase the size a little. I am thinking the surefire backup sights because they are relatively cheap. The ACOG won't have a LaRue on it initially, but I'll upgrade that eventually. Trust me... I know that the 37mm isn't a good choice for practicality, I'll eventually get another quad rail for the Bushmaster upper and put it on that. My primary/default AR config will be as it is pictured minus the 37mm and with the flip ups and ACOG. The 37mm is a toy, nothing more. I am not sure it's even worth my time to apply for DD status on it. I think I would rather put that class 3 energy into a mild suppressor––more to tone down that report. The bushmaster (haven't fired the new upper yet) has that @#$% y-brake on it that makes it LOUD. I got a buddy with a newer one with standard bird cage and his is quieter (admittedly not by a lot) that the Bushmaster.

On a side note I do wish the 37mm didn't have quite so much of a gap. (that's a cheapie green laser on top... it's for show much like the 37mm I wouldn't really use it in a tactical sitch I am kinda big... not quite teletubbie status but the fork is strong with this one. That makes me a bigger target no sense drawing MORE attention to myself.)
