OD A2 stocks
I want to do an A2 build in OD green. Is there anyone out there that makes a quality OD green A2 stock?
Well, I know DPMS has. I got one about a week ago out of a parts bin at my local store. I wish I would have known you wanted one, I;' have traded you. I just duracoated it :(
Armalite makes them and I have a couple on my guns. Good quality....<><....:)
Model 1 Sales has them in OD Green.

I would get a Armalite or RRA OD set before any parts house set like M1S.
I would definitely recommend going with either the Rock River as seen Here (part number is AR0074GK for complete stock kit, or AR0074GASY for OD Buttstock assembly only), or the Armalite seen Here, or just the OD buttstock assembly seen Here. I would steer clear of Model 1 sales. They aren't the most ethical group in the neighborhood. If you absolutely must buy from Model 1, DO NOT use your credit card!!! Instead, use a Postal money order, as they have quite a history with stolen credit card numbers and erroneous charges.

does one match OD Pmags/MOE grip better than the other?
Think I'd buy a surplus A-2 and paint it with camo fusion. Think gunnyssurplus has A-2 stocks for $20 and Walmart has camo fusion for less than $5.

Ordered my AR10 with green furniture, was solid & looked good. I later changed to black.
BTW AR10 & AR15 A2 furniture is the same, just in case it was not known.
I am running an OD Armalite set on mine...works well. Trap door in the stock is a bit tight though. Have to pull down the latch with one finger and use my knife blade to lightly pry it open. After the first quarter inch, enough is exposed to use your fingers to open it the rest of the way.
Handugards and pistol grip have been trouble free. I ended up wrapping the stock where my cheek rests, pistol grip and front of the handguard (where my hand rests while using the sling) with that self adhesive camo tape wrap because my hands were getting sweaty and the bare plastic is hard to hang onto.
