I can finally join the party.
Kinda liking the weight of this HBar, the balance isn't bad either.

Very nice. I'm curious about the 1/9 twist in the 6601. I bought a 6601 a couple of months ago and installed a Colt A2 government profile barrel assembly. The HBAR barrel that was original to the gun had a 1/7 twist.

Very nice, how do you like that NiB BCG?

I'm building an A4 right now minus the railed forearm.

Mine should be original to it, marked: C MP 5.56 NATO 1/9 HBAR
After reading this thread, now I don't know if it's a 6601, but then again, it might be. Every time I've seen a 6601, it was a 1/9 (granted, I have a very poor memory.)

It's going to be a while before I can shoot it, so forgive me if I can't really answer anybodies questions that aren't possible until then.

How do you like the Cav buttstock? I thought they were A1 length?

It is A1 length and a good fit for me. (5'8")
It's lighter than an A2, so if you have concerns over having your rifle front heavy, it might not be a good match.
The interior is larger without the foam filling, it appears it will take two OTIS butt-stock kits compared to an A2.
Overall, it's nice and I'll be getting more in the future.

ETA: I ordered the Cavalry butt-plate at the same time and it's made of the same material and is easier to open than my old A2.
The sling swivel swings freely.
