I picked up a Leupold 1.5x5 illum. cheap off of the EE, so I bought
a DNZ 30mm. A2 scope mount to put it in.

I thought it might run pretty high, so I ordered the Delta Pro snap on
cheek rest to run with it.

Anyone used one of these and have anything to say about it?

Should arrive in a few days. I'll post pics, and my thoughts.

I have one FOR my A2....along with a Swan mount....as soon as I get my divorce crap taken care of ( should be above water in about a year ) I am gonna finish the project.

I've shot ARs with them before and they're a very decent mount and work well for keeping a consistent cheek weld; for me at least.

Thanks,

Takes more like a year and a half to three.

Oh, I am already a year in!!!

I am hoping just another year...but you are probably closer to what'll happen.

I have used them and you just do not get a good cheek weld when sighting down the weapon. In the prone position, the set-up is too high for practical shooting.

I had one on a lower that I used with my A2 and .50 BMG upper. Worked well for me in any shooting position, but you can pretty much forget about using the irons.
