I have been debating this for a while and would like to know if anyone has a POF that can tell me there happy or unhappy with it. I have read that POF customer service isn't that great but how is the rifle? 2K is a lot to spend so i would like an opinion from somebody with one.

I have a 16" POF 416 and it is fine and I have never had any problems with its operation
I only needed customer service once as I built 2 of these and only received one set of extra lower parts that include the ambi bolt release parts and bolt catch set screw
it took a little while to get the parts but they did finally show up with no charge
I've been very happy with mine.
If your considering a POF, why not consider a
HOGAN? The design is basically the same. The biggest difference from my understanding is that POF farms out the work, and put's it together under their own name. Hogan makes their own parts & puts it together. PLUS, the customer service is top notch over at Hogan.
No, I don't work for or represent either company, I can honestly say that I have owned both & dealt with both company's, including both of the owners. With the exception of one person at POF, I was treated like garbage. I liked the design of the rifle, so I called Hogan. I've been a satisfied Hogan customer ever since.

I don't have a 416, but I do have a p308 and I love it. It is an absolutely great rifle.
I have 14.5 inch midlength P15 and love it. I am surprised how light the recoil is. The recoil feels similar to my KAC SR-15. Don't know anything about POF's customer service because I have never needed it.
