could this be done? and to fit under a BAR or yankee hill rail? would be reeeeealy cool for a SBR and suppressor build

I asked this a loooong time ago. I don't think their current piston cup is short enough to fit the pistol-length gas system.
I figured they could extend the cup around the barrel a bit, kind of like a down-facing "c", keep the length of the cup short enough to work w/ the shortened gas system. The extended circumference of the cup, should make up for the removal of some of the length and should maintain the volume of gas the piston can contain.
I have a 7.5" SBR that's begging for a system like I described above. If only they'd make one!
