If you are looking for the most stable and capable scope mount available, look no further. The Spuhr Ideal Scope Mount System is the best of the best. For those that do not need a QD solution for their drop dead accurate dope book guns, this is the system to get.

Spuhr is a weapon accessory manufacturer in Sweden, dedicated to designing and building innovative and specialized mounting solutions for military and law enforcement. Owner and lead engineer, Hakan Spuhr develops some of the most high quality gear available in the tactical industry. Parts are machined and finished with extreme precision for unmatched quality and reliability and are currently being used by top NATO special operations units around the world.

Spuhr’s Patent Pending Ideal Scope Mount System (ISMS) is one the most innovative and functional mounts available and TNVC is proud to be the U.S. Distributor. Everything about this system has been carefully designed and well thought-out. The ISMS is a one-piece unit with thick, sturdy rings for use on heavy caliber weapons. It features the lowest-profile rings of any mount because of the innovative 45 degree cut instead of horizontal cuts found in legacy rings. This allows the screws to be completely captured within the “footprint” of the rings, providing less snag hazard and more direct access to scope turrets. A built-in, rear-facing bubble level aids the shooter in keeping his rifle level. The rings also feature a 45 degree diagonal cut with threaded holes for mounting accessories such as rails for back-up red dot sights. The mount has been designed with an angled cut in the base that uses a Scope Level Gauge to correctly index the scope to the mount. This patented system ensures the scope is completely level to the bore.

The Spuhr Ideal Scope Mount System is the mount you have been waiting for. Everything about it has been thoroughly resolved and refined with input from end users in the field. It represents a very elegant solution that solves several problems at once. The design, material, build-quality, and finish are top notch. Added together with the effectiveness of the design, the ISMS is truly the ultimate scope mount on the market. Its thick, sturdy rings keep the scope from being damaged from flex due to heavy recoil. The low profile design provides uninterrupted line of sight and access to scope turrets. A machined notch on top of the rear ring leads the eye to top turret and provides a witness mark. The built-in bubble level allows the shooter to make sure the weapon is completely level. Even the mounting of the scope is made easier due to innovative Scope Level Wedge included in the package. Normally, we would not recommend dismounting a sniper scope. But, in this case, it is worth it to upgrade to the Spuhr ISMS.

The leveling wedge is one of the coolest features of these mounts. Each unit features a machined 10 degree slot between the rings. An included wedge is slid into this slot, mating up with the flat surface on the bottom of the scope. This ensures the scope will be completely level to the mount and in turn, completely level to the weapon.

Each ISMS features multiple mounting points for addition accessories. These points are located all over the unit and allow it to accept various M1913 Rail Sections, and footprint modules. A soon-to-be-released Angle Cosine Indicator module will be able to mount directly to the side of the unit for shooting at angles.

The ISMS is available in many different configurations to suit a variety of weapon systems and scopes.

This Item is ITAR controlled and cannot be shipped or carried outside the United States without express written permission from the United States Department of State. We do not export outside the United States. PERIOD!

Awesome idea. Unfortunately, those prices are a no-go for me.

They are awesome! But, you better hurry if you want one. We've been selling out of these before shipments even arrive. Word has spread that Spuhr is the mount to beat for hardcore distance shooters. We finally have enough stock on hand to make an announcement on Arfcom!

Hi

I wanna say thank you to TNVC for a very nice ad, and as this solution is so different from everything else. I would like to take the oppertunity to explain my intentions and solutions with this mount system.

The mount is machined in one piece to make it as sturdy as possible.
Material used is 7075 aluminium that is aboth 50% stronger than 6061 and 6082 more commonly used.
All mounts are machined out and not extruded for maximum quality, and expensive method but gives significantly higher quality.
If possible I prefers to mount the mounts directly on to the recivers instead of putting picatinny rails in betwen, therefor we make them for a number of firarms with their own rails as well as for picatinny.

The rings are cut in 45 degrees to give the shooter a qucik easy acess to the knobs, and to allow him to see his settings at all times.
On this mount with have mounted the T1 at top and a Peq15 at the side of the mount.

The mount does have a 10 degree slot in its base and the 10 degree key that is supplied with the mount is used for leveling the scope.
This way the scope is set up at the correct level very qucik and convenient with out the use of several levels and loads of effort.

The rings are grooved inside for holding the the scope as secure as possible but also for provide space for glue for those who prefers to glue their scopes.
The level that is built in to the mount is well protected and always there.
Open your left eye and you will see it easaly.
The 10 degree slot in the mount is also visiable on this picture

Ligtning cuts have been made wherever possible and that have taken down the weight to 7-9 oz depending on model, a common reaction from people who toches the mount the first time is "its so light.
The gripping surface have been minimized to anhance the repetability and to compensate for bepicatinny rails that not are so exact.

Different users have different needs, some need a secondary sight mounted 12 o'clock, others wants it 3 o'clock. On a carbine like this one I prefer it 3 o'clock as I just rotates the gun and looks through the secondary sight.

On an AR10 or a HK417 like this one the 45degree position is great.
To place the peq15 on the scopemount is good as its unaffected by preassure on the forend.
Totally we have 7-8 interface spots so the user can mount what he whants, where he wants it.

QD mount for ACI, with and without the Horus ACI

All mounts are clearly marked with the tilt, and the direction of it.
They are also clearly marked with the model numbers as well as mostly small parts are, so that extra or spare orders in the future goes smoth and easy.

direct footprints for Doctor and Trijicon RMR are also availible.
As well as spacers etc.

Hope you appreiciate the system.
so if anyone have questions I am happay to answer them.
I am also very happy to recive comments, ideas and opinions.

Best Regards Håkan

I really like the 10 deg scope leveling feature, I hate leveling scopes. This thing looks about as solid as can be, but also looks rather light, and with all the options for add ons, should your wallet be a AMEX Black card, you can go nuts. I would buy one, but will likely never build a rifle worthy of such a mount. But really cool stuff.

That's why you need to get the mount so you can build a rifle around it!!!

The TPAL has an extended turret section that measures 2.77" The ISMS is about 2.25" in between the rings. So, no, the TPAL will not fit. BUT, the individual Spuhr Ring Mounts are about to be released and you will nave no problem fitting the TPAL in them.

This is one of the rare few unfortunately the SPUHR will not fit. This particular scopes turret housing is longer than the inside spacing of the mount. Hakan will be showing a drawing with some dimensions very soon.

So you all know, we've asked Hakan to hang out here with us as it's great to have the Owner/Chief Engineer answering all your questions as well. I've personally been using this mount for awhile now, and I call it my "museum piece." An amazing mount, and built like a tank.

Edit, Sorry Dupe...I see Clasky beat me to it!

I have bought over a dozen of these for my personal guns, and all I can say is its the best damned mount I have ever owned and I have had them all! Most of my stuff is more percision stuff, so I do not need quick release. I have pulled them on and off to check zero, and they are always on the money when i put them back on. If you give them a try you will be happy!

I've had the privilege to work with Håkan (actually, he recruited me to his old shop), and I've had the opportunity to see these remarkable mounts (and now rings) evolve - in VERY short order - from just an idea Håkan had the summer before last to what you see today (and what you have yet to see ). Very cool stuff!

Oh, and if you wanna see what else Håkan has been up to, you can check out his website at www.spuhr.com (I've been told a new website is on the way, and therefore the current one is not up to date).

Fastford, good on ya!

Yes indeed, these mounts are pricey. But you will not find a finer mounting solution for this application. There is a lot of expensive gear on the market, but this is a case where you truly get what you pay for.

Do these rings come with a rail section? Specifically the cantiliver model with the angled side to mount a 45 degree red dot on the side. For $400 i would hope so. If the mounting point is built in and Im payin for it, all necessary peices should be there.

Rails and other accessories are separate. There are a lot of different rails, footprints, and other accessories available for these mounts. For it to come with everything while maintaining the second-to-none quality, you would be looking at a much higher price tag. We understand these mounts are not inexpensive compared to other offerings. However, they cannot be compared to any other mount on the market. No other mount features this level of craftsmanship, design, engineering, versatility, modularity, and functionality. Accessory rails are $55 and come with mounting hardware.

Each Spuhr ISMS comes with the leveling wedge.
