RifleGear is pleased to announce that we have a new complete upper featuring the popular Troy VTAC TRX Extreme Battle Rail. The TRX rail includes three configurable rail panels, one which includes a quick detach socket that is perfect for a sling attachment. The TRX rail strikes the perfect balance of functionality, weight, and price. Available in either Black or Flat Dark Earth and with optional Troy fixed or flip up front and rear battle sights.
Featuring Daniel Defense CHF barrels, bolt carrier groups, and receivers, every RifleGear complete upper is assembled using the finest parts and materials and subjected to industry leading quality control tests. Features include chrome-lined cold hammer forged barrel, full-auto bolt carrier group and charging handle, and HP and MPI tested barrel and bolt.

I just put a 13" VTAC Extreme on my 16" upper and it looks great! $769.00 is actually cheaper than what I paid for the materials for mine. Also, I had to spend even more money on tools for the installation.

The RifleGear uppers are a great value, we have a great relationship with Daniel Defense and were awarded a Daniel Defense "Top Gun" award from them at SHOT this year.

We have not offered our uppers without BCG/Charging Handle but we will look at offering that option since it seems to be a popular one. We will also be offering this upper with a 14.5" and permanent muzzle device in the next day or so - I will update this post with photos and links to the new configurations. We currently stock BattleComp, Smith Vortex, PWS, AAC, and YHM muzzle devices and can pin/weld any of them. Turn around on upper with pin/weld is about two days for in stock items.

That would be great. What about stainless steel barrels and gas blocks?

We are sourcing some more barrels right now. Problem is the demand is very high right now so barrels are hard to get. We have some non-CHF mid-length barrels coming in a couple weeks so we will offer that option soon. The new barrels we have coming are lathe cut, not CHF, but are 1:7, chrome-lined, and M4 feed ramps.
I've updated the OP to show our 14.5" upper that is available, along with the new website category "Gunsmith Services", which will allow you to add a permanently attached muzzle device of your choice to the cart. You can add this item to any of our 14.5" uppers and we will pin/weld it for you.
