How many times have you been out on the range on a hot day and found out that you didn't have a way to open your returnable Ale 8? (Ale 8 is a soft drink native to Winchester, Ky http://ale8one.com/ not a beer! ) I've had this happen many times and have had to try to rig a way to open the bottle without the proper tool. Now that tool is always on my gun. In addition to being able to open my cold beverage, it also acts as a sling mount for the HK style hook! The Ace TBO is ambidextrous and functions on any 1913 rail. These are machined in house from 6061-T6 Aluminum and are hard coat anodized. Retail price is 14.99.

Wait a minute ... This will turn my AR-15 into one of the world's priciest and tacti-cool bottle openers? I must have one for each firearm I own!

Hmm ... Does it fit okay on a Sig pistol rail?

Oh Yeah!

Hmmm... A little too late for a stocking stuffer. :-(

... now all I have to do is find a link to a for-sale page.

Cool! I used to buy Ale 8 every time I drove through the right part of KY when I was in college and military. I just never had the right tactical rifle to go with the drink . . .

I just open bottles with my teeth, but one of these days it's going to catch up with me. $14.99 is good insurance against some major dental work. Cool product.

LOl what better way to ensure mixing firearms, alcohol, and lack of muzzle control!

I have a feeling this accessory will end up in the next "Darwin Awards".

We're developing a 1913 Rail Mounted 12oz Beverage Holder, complete with sippy-cup closure to prevent recoil induced spillage. Stay tuned for more info!

Yes, and for very good reason. IDF troops has a habit of damaging magazine lips by using them as bottle openers, leaving the mags unreliable or even useless. The opener, at the base of the bayonet, remedied this.

I took this modern version as a humerus joke on the tacti-cool crowd.

And that was because the IDF issued bottled water a lot then. So it was a real need.

Thanks for all the positive feedback. We are aware that improper use could result in injury or death, so don't use it improperly. We are all adults, use your good judgement here.
We apologize for not having it available for purchase online. The Ace site is only days from relaunching and we should have it then. Please call in to order them if you need one for your next mission.

Thanks!
Nick
