Oops missed that! Speakers were on mute when the video first started, Thanks
I wonder if the design is the same as the old .22 upper. It would be fantastic if the magazines fit the old version.
How is that upper Milspec?
Please stop continuing trends in the industry that do not HELP anyone. Its misleading and not necessary for you to sell your wares.
Is this a ceiner style conversion or something developed in house at DPMS?
A magazine I was looking at, had a picture of the DPMS bolt removed and it looked like the bolt that Nordic uses on their .22 conversion units.
Very good system. It's not a Ceiner style.

They are referring to the fact that it will fit on any milspec lower, not a 22lr only lower.

No, the guy in the video specifically said the upper is milspec...what he means is the upper fits milspec lowers, but is a little misleading.

So you tell me no and then reword what I just said? Are you guys really confused about this? Did you watch the video and think you're tacticool guns are all outdated cause the military is now using DPMS 22s?

Looks like it takes BDM mags. So I guess that means that CMMG upgrades like the BHO module should work in it...

Wow, man....who lit the fuse on your tampon?!?
My Nordic will work with BDM and CMMG's mags. Not sure if CMMG's BHO will work with the Nordic. Different type of bolt.
Don't know about DPMS.

That line made me laugh! You ever use it on a chick?
Pretty cool but for that price, spend another hundred or less (sale) and get a S & W. Just my .02
Nevertheless it's pretty cool.

This is the issue with most .22LR uppers, I don't see the point of going with the upper options. If you want it to mimic your centerfire rifle, you'll need to buy optics, BUIS, light, etc... for it. If your main use is plinking, kinda close to your centerfire, then why not get another gun? My CMMG Stainless Steel kit works just as good as a .22lr upper. If CMMG puts a kit together with the SS Conversion, BHO, and Bolt release kit, there is even less of a need to buy a dedicated upper.
No offense to DPMS or anyone else.
Not everyone uses the upper to mimic the 5.56 upper, and not everyone has optics, BUIS, and lights. Some people don't want to have to go through a FFL and purchase an extra lower. Some people have limited storage space space. Some people like the accuracy of a true .22 caliber barrel.
I don't have mine set up to mimic anything. But I have 3 .22 uppers on lowers and the family shoots them at Appleseed and the range.
A $200 aftermarket trigger in an AR lower will nudge one towards a .22 AR pin-on upper instead of a look-alike .22 rifle.
Best of luck to DPMS with their product. More competition can only make the marketplace better for all of us consumers.
Not legal advice, MHO, YMMV, etc.

They use Blackdog type mags and those mags are not useable with the older versions of the DPMS dedicated .22LR upper. I too wish they were or that DPMS would at least offer owners of the older style a discount on upgrading to the new style. Those old 10 round mags are a PITA since they hold so few rounds and no other conversion mag fits the old style upper and the older style mags are no longer available from anyone. Talk about having a real pink elephant. Either live with those 10 round mags and hope you don't break one and need a replacement or buy a whole new upper.
What do you think DPMS, could it be a possibility that you will offer owners of the old style .22 LR dedicated uppers a discount on converting them over to the new style?
I agree 100%! Mine all but stays in the safe because there is no factory support. A trade in opportunity would be very much appreciated.

Can someone point out to me where this item is located on their website?
Does it have a last shot bolt hold open?
Does the bolt release function like normal?
60 day limit reached.
