Well like the title says I am weighing my options on a LPK for my Pistol build.
I have the Spikes NiB LPK on my Spikes AR and love it. However it was my first build and first AR and I'm afraid I have no frame of reference with other LPKs. Obviously they all go bang, but I am interested in hearing certain likes and dislikes of other manufactures. Please feel free to weigh in on your preferences and why....Thanks!
Parts List..
Spikes Blem Lower
BCM Blem Upper
lightly used Spikes 9" S.A.R. (bought on EE)
Magpul AFG
Rainier 7.5" Barrel
KX3
Spikes Buffer w/ attached CAA saddle
Spikes NiB BCG
For a fun project I'm planning on turning this into somewhat of a custom pistol. The Upper, Lower, S.A.R. rail & CAA saddle will get duracoated "Diamond Plate Grey", with everything else black.
Looking to make a custom little brother to my rifle..
to go along with my custom ccw...

If you already have an ST trigger, I'd go ST...if it's going to remain a pistol the trigger isn't a big factor IMO.
For "OEM" triggers I like the LWRC NiB, which is probably similar to the ST unit.
Another question on the same topic. I do have another striped lower I would like to turn into a SBR (10.5") would the spikes trigger be fine for that aswell, or are there better options?
I like the idea of all my "like" weapons to to remain funcionaly similar. so I say what you like/have in your full length ar, you should go with on your pistol build. that way no wierd surprises switching from one to another. The ST NIB sounds nice.
