jse surplus

They have a bunch of complete pistol uppers (mostly 7") for under $400.
For a cheaper pistol you may look in EE for used items.
For a cheap lower look to Plum crazy lowers. They have LPK installed and include buffer and tube.

+1 for JSE surplus.
I got a 7.5" from them a couple months ago and it was right at 400 delivered.

About 500 rounds thru it so far and ZERO failures.

For a lower, I'd check into THIS, and add the correct pistol buffer (also available from JSE)

Looks inexpensive and is complete minus the buffer assembly. Has anyone built one.

The RRA buffer tube (which is awesome BTW) does not have the groove that the end plate fits into.
you'll need a metal file or dremel tool.
make it look like the one on the right:

Yes. I bought 2 of those lowers and they were at my FFL a few days later. I also met them at a gun show a few weeks ago. Good friendly people.

Don't forget Model 1 Sales. They might be a few bucks more, but they also offer a larger selection and more options.

Minor hijack, I'm hunting for a CHEAP pistol tube and this seemed like a good thread to butt in and inquire. I already have buffers, springs, etc, but I need a pistol tube using standard nut and plate. I'm not TOO concerned w/having top of the line, this is a filler so I can build and use a pistol while I'm waiting on SBR paperwork. Can you point me towards the uber-cheap?

good to go, I got 2 lowers from them a couple months ago, fast shipping, great communication, and the lowers are fully in spec.

the rock river arms pistol buffer tube i got was 25 bucks. using my standard carbine buffer and spring in it and it worked flawless. first 100 rounds went downrange without a hitch. cycled wolf steel 55gn, pmc 62 grain vtac, federal 5.56 and federal .223 like a champ. it's the same tube as psa is selling for 23 bucks.
