Hey all.

Looking to build a 10.5" pistol. What do you think about the uppers offered from Palmetto State Armory? Specifically this one.

10.5" upper

I wanted to do a Noveske KX3 with the rail covering the first half or so but I think I wont mind the stock flash hider and I like how everything is already put together. Secondly the LPK. Palmetto has these as well and I figured it was a good deal.

Pistol Lower Parts Kit

What do you think about this stuff? Should I consider going elsewhere or do you think this is good quality??

As always, thank you for your time all knowing arfcom universe. You are the best thing since canned beer.

Nothing wrong with PSA's stuff IMO. They may not be exactly the flavor of the month but their stuff is as good as any.
I have two dedicated pistols, one 7.5 and one 10.5. I have other short uppers that I use on the SBRs but have also used them on the pistols and I find, that for my uses, anything longer than 10.5 inches on a pistol lower gets to be a little cumbersome and front heavy. The 7.5 inch is my favorite for use on the pistol but there is nothing really wrong with the 10.5, I just like the looks and feel of the 7.5 better. But then again, my pistol ARs are for kicks and giggles only and I couldn't care less if the bullet out of the 7.5 is traveling a little slower than the 10.5 or has a shorter 'affective' range. It punches holes in paper and cans and anything else that gets in front of it just as well as the 10.5 does so far as I can tell.

Good to know. I decided on a 10.5 pistol only because it would be the ideal SBR length for me. I have the hots for SBR's, unfortunately, California doesn't think I should be allowed to own one . I will non-the-less, enjoy this pistol very much

I Just got their MOE kit. The MOE pistol grip rattles because of the cover plate. I put some tape on it and it stopped the rattle.
I did a quick break in on the trigger on this kit and it's very smooth. Enough that I don't think I'll replace it with a 2 stage.
