i can't believe it's not obvious.

one hand on the pistol grip, the other hand on the flash suppressor, the buffer tube pressed firmly against your forehead.

My son and I were so impressed how my his 11.5" pistol shot so soft.

Arguably it's just as comfortable to shoot as a carbine resting your cheekbone against the buffer tube

Of course he had to have his own carbine so it has morphed into a CAR-15

And now I'm building a 10.5" Pistol for myself

Here is one video I‘ve come across. Just using the buffer as a cheeckweld should create some consistency.

You align the sights on the target and carefully squeeze/press the trigger. Same as with any other firearm.

This is another Youtube video that shows three methods of shooting the AR pistol.

Cheek bone against the tube works for me

I use a single point sling cinched
up pretty short. Push the pistol
out until I get a cheekweld on the
tube & the sights come into view
about as natural, if not more than,
a rifle,

It is amazingly intuitive, accurate
and fast. Your arms take the recoil,
so you body remains stable.

This Video shows my 3 point sling,
but I have since converted to the
single point.

YMMV.

Thats a fine pistol!!!

That is exactly what I want to build.

Unfourtunatley,a the last 4 lowers were sold to me as rifles.

What I'm mainly looking for is a trunk gun that will fit into a hiking backpack which is my GHB.

I really like the 9mm, but I am
currently researching prices to
build a 5.56 in a 10.5".

I think the 9mm is a practical
round for this size weapon, and
I am concerned with the muzzle
blast from the 5.56, but I am
going to buid one anyway.

There are some build vids on
sootch's channel about my
pistol, also.

Good Luck!

Single point sling HK MP5k style. I cinch it up tight so that when I push it out tight with my arms I can get good sight acquisition and rest my cheek on the tube, but not always.

Sling and cheek(butt)on the tube works good for me. I wonder if the ATF has a rule on this to make criminals out of us for holding it the wrong way?
